Sandra is a functional medicine practitioner and a nutritional therapist. She is certified by the British Association for Applied Nutrition & Nutritional Therapy, and the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) registration, as recognised by the Department of Health. CNHC is the Professional Standards body for regulation of nutrition practitioners in the UK.
Sandra is trained in genetic engineering, and in nutritional therapy based on the functional medicine model.
Her approach is focused on the person rather than on a disease, supporting the expression of health of each individual. From that perspective any diagnosis is just a starting point – and is not as important as the person who has the diagnosis. In many cases there is no single physical symptom, but a collection of symptoms that point to a common cause.
